A kitchen countertop installation is more than cutting a slab to size. Every project involves multiple surfaces, multiple cutout types, edge profile decisions, and seam placement choices that all affect how the finished kitchen reads. We handle every one of these details in-house. Nothing is handed off.

The island is the visual centerpiece of most South Florida kitchens. Size, overhang depth for seating, seam placement on larger islands, and whether the installation includes a waterfall edge panel all require decisions that are made at the measurement stage, not on installation day. Our team takes every dimension on-site and fabricates the island at our Hallandale Beach facility to the exact specifications confirmed at templating. A prep sink in the island is a standard cutout we handle as part of the same fabrication run.

Perimeter countertop runs in South Florida kitchens vary from straightforward galley layouts to complex L-shaped and U-shaped configurations with multiple seams, corners, and wall return conditions. We address every wall irregularity and out-of-square condition at the template stage so the finished countertops fit tightly against the wall on every side. Perimeter surfaces also receive the same edge profile, polish quality, and seam treatment as the island.

The undermount sink cutout is where fabrication quality becomes immediately visible. The edge of the cutout is polished, the opening is sized to the exact dimensions of the sink model, and the mounting clips or silicone bed are set to hold the sink correctly over time. We handle standard undermount sinks, farmhouse and apron front sinks, and double bowl configurations. Sink cutout cost is approximately $195.

Cooktop openings require the same precision as sink cutouts. We cut to the exact specifications provided by the cooktop manufacturer, including the required clearance from the countertop edge. Downdraft ventilation openings and other appliance cutouts are handled the same way. Cooktop cutout cost is approximately $225.

A waterfall edge island requires a mitered joint where the countertop surface meets the vertical panel that runs to the floor. The quality of that joint is one of the most technically demanding details in stone fabrication. When the veining in the stone is oriented to continue through the miter, the joint needs to be cut and finished precisely for the effect to work. We fabricate waterfall edge islands regularly across South Florida and the quality of the miter is the detail our clients comment on most after installation.

Edge profile is a design decision that affects how the countertop reads in the finished kitchen. An eased edge is clean and contemporary. A beveled edge adds a subtle detail. A mitered waterfall creates a full-thickness illusion at the island face. An ogee edge reads as traditional and formal. We offer eased, beveled, bullnose, ogee, mitered, and waterfall profiles across all materials. We discuss edge profile at the measurement visit and confirm the selection before fabrication begins.
Every material we stock and fabricate is appropriate for kitchen countertop applications. The right choice depends on how you use the kitchen, what maintenance profile you want, and what aesthetic you are after.

The most requested kitchen countertop material we install. Non-porous, stain resistant, requires no sealing, and available in hundreds of colors and patterns from Caesarstone, Cambria, Silestone, and every major manufacturer we carry. Consistent color and pattern across multiple pieces makes it straightforward to match perimeter and island surfaces on larger kitchens. Not recommended for outdoor kitchen applications in South Florida due to UV-related resin degradation.

Natural stone with heat resistance and genuine character that engineered materials cannot replicate. Every slab is unique. Granite is one of the few materials we install without hesitation for outdoor kitchen countertops in South Florida. Requires periodic sealing indoors. Performs well in both traditional and contemporary kitchen designs and in every price range from practical to premium.

The first choice for buyers who want the aesthetic of marble with the durability a working kitchen demands. Quartzite rates 7 or above on the Mohs hardness scale, handles direct heat well, and does not etch from acidic kitchen contact the way marble does. Premium varieties including Taj Mahal, White Macaubas, and Cristallo are among the most requested luxury kitchen surfaces we install in Aventura, Sunny Isles Beach, and Miami Beach. Requires annual sealing.

A real and popular choice in South Florida luxury kitchens where the aesthetic is the primary driver. Calacatta and Statuario kitchen countertops and islands are regularly specified in high-end renovations throughout Miami-Dade. We give every marble kitchen client an honest assessment of what the material demands before fabrication begins. Buyers who understand and accept the maintenance requirements get a kitchen surface that no other material matches.

UV-stable, non-porous, zero sealing required. The leading outdoor kitchen countertop choice in South Florida for buyers who want maximum durability with no maintenance obligation. For indoor kitchens, porcelain competes directly with quartz on performance and with natural stone on aesthetics. Large-format porcelain in marble-look patterns has become a strong indoor choice for buyers who want the visual character of stone without the sealing demands.
Every kitchen countertop project at King of Quartz follows the same process.
We come to your kitchen, measure every surface on-site, confirm edge profile and cutout requirements, and give you a straight estimate based on actual dimensions. No charge, no obligation.
Once you have approved the estimate, you select your material at our Hallandale Beach showroom. For natural stone, we recommend selecting from a full slab. For quartz, we have sample books from every brand we carry.
Your countertops are cut, edged, and finished at our facility. Sink cutouts, cooktop cutouts, and all edge profiles are completed in-house before anything is loaded for delivery. Our installation team arrives, removes your existing countertops and hauls them away at no additional charge, and installs the finished pieces. Most kitchen installations are complete in a single visit.

King of Quartz installs kitchen countertops throughout South Florida from our Hallandale Beach fabrication facility. We work regularly in Hollywood, Fort Lauderdale, Aventura, Sunny Isles Beach, North Miami Beach, Miami, and Miami Beach. We cover Boca Raton, Pembroke Pines, Coral Springs, Pompano Beach, Deerfield Beach, and communities throughout Broward County, Miami-Dade County, and Palm Beach County.
It depends on how you use the kitchen and what you are willing to maintain. For a busy kitchen with daily cooking and minimal maintenance requirements, quartz and granite are the strongest choices. Quartz requires no sealing and handles everyday kitchen use without attention. Granite requires annual sealing but handles direct heat better and is the proven choice for outdoor kitchens in South Florida’s climate. For buyers who want the aesthetic of natural stone with strong durability, quartzite is the most requested luxury kitchen material we install. For buyers who want the specific look of marble and are committed to the maintenance it requires, marble is unmatched aesthetically.
Entry-level quartz runs $40 to $55 per square foot installed. Standard quartz patterns run $55 to $85. Designer and premium quartz runs $85 to $150. Granite runs $40 to $150 depending on variety. Quartzite runs $65 to $200. Marble runs $65 to $250. Porcelain and sintered stone run $55 to $140. Exact pricing depends on your material, square footage, edge profile, and cutouts. For an accurate number, call us or send photos of your kitchen and we will give you a straight estimate after seeing the job.
Most kitchen countertop projects are complete within 5 to 7 business days from the time we template your space. That covers fabrication at our Hallandale Beach facility and installation at your home. Most kitchen installations are done in a single visit. Old countertop removal and haul-away are included at no additional charge.
Yes. We fabricate and install waterfall edge kitchen islands regularly across South Florida. The mitered joint where the countertop meets the vertical panel requires precision fabrication to finish cleanly, particularly when the veining in the stone is oriented to continue through the joint. This is one of the details that shows the difference between experienced fabrication and work that was rushed.
We offer eased, beveled, bullnose, ogee, mitered, and waterfall edge profiles across all materials. Edge profile is discussed and confirmed at the measurement visit before fabrication begins. We advise on which profiles work best for specific materials, particularly for thinner porcelain slabs where edge selection affects long-term chip resistance.
Yes. We have been doing condo kitchen installations across South Florida for over 20 years.
