How It Started

King of Quartz started in 2005 in Hallandale Beach. The idea was simple: fabricate countertops in-house, install them with the same team, and deal directly with the people who are actually buying the stone. No intermediaries. No outsourced cutting. No sales layer between the client and the fabricator.

That is still how we operate today. The business has grown over 20 years, the material selection has expanded, and the South Florida market we serve has changed considerably. What has not changed is the structure: one family, one facility, one team that does the work from the first measurement to the day of installation.

We are not a franchise. We are not a regional branch of a national company. The people who own King of Quartz are in the facility every day. If you have a question about your project, you are talking to someone who can answer it.

How We Work

Every project starts with a free in-home measurement. We come to your home or job site, take every dimension on-site, discuss your material options and edge profile, and give you an estimate based on what we actually saw. Not a ballpark. Not a range wide enough to mean nothing. A real number based on your real kitchen.

Once you approve the estimate and select your slab at our Hallandale Beach showroom, we fabricate your countertops at our in-house facility. Our own equipment. Our own team. When the installation team arrives at your home, they have already seen your job because they made it.

We remove your existing countertops and haul them away at no additional charge. Most residential projects are complete within 5 to 7 business days from the time we template your space. We clean up before we leave. If there is ever a problem with our work within the first year, we come back and make it right. That is the warranty, and it means something because we fabricated and installed the countertops ourselves.

What Factory-Direct Means in Practice

A lot of companies use the phrase factory-direct. It is worth explaining what it actually means in our case.
Most countertop retailers take your order and send the specifications to a fabrication facility they do not own or operate. You pay for that handoff. You pay for the coordination, the transport, and the markup that sits between the sale and the actual cutting of your stone. The retailer is accountable for the sale. The fabrication facility is accountable for the cutting. When those two things are different companies, accountability gets complicated.
We cut your countertops. We install your countertops. If something is not right, there is no question about which party is responsible. It is us. That is what factory-direct means in practice: one company doing the whole job, with one number to call if anything needs to be addressed.
It also produces better pricing. When you remove the outsourced fabrication step and the markup that comes with it, the cost of the job reflects the actual material and labor involved. We are not padding a number to cover coordination costs we should not be charging you for in the first place.

Who We Work With

Most of our clients are homeowners doing kitchen or bathroom renovations. Some are replacing original countertops in a home they have owned for years. Some are buying a place and updating it before they move in. Some are in the middle of a full renovation and need a fabricator who can turn a job around reliably within a real timeline.
We also work regularly with interior designers, general contractors, kitchen and bath dealers, and builders throughout South Florida. If you are a trade professional managing multiple projects and you need a fabrication partner with consistent quality and a predictable turnaround, call us directly. We handle trade work the same way we handle residential: in-house fabrication, the same installation team, and direct communication with the people doing the work.

We work across Broward County and Miami-Dade County, with regular projects in Hallandale Beach, Hollywood, Fort Lauderdale, Aventura, Sunny Isles Beach, and the surrounding communities.
